I just picked up a 3/4t dana 44, and a 3/4t 14 bolt FF, I now it is a direct swapin but am I going too have to get custom drive shafts made or are the ujoints the same as the 1/2t 10 bolts?

The front should be a direct match for your u-joint......the rear will take one of two choices of ujoints. My '79 needed Napa ujoint #348 (as did Mudhog's '77) to hook up to the 14B, if that doesn't work the Napa #447 is the one. The later Blazers (not sure which year) takes the 447..........

Do I have to get a new rear drive shaft? I picked up my axles form a coloradok5 user in Collage Station.

Re: Converting to 3/4 ton

When I put my 14bolt ff under my 74, with a NP203, I only had to buy the new hybrid U-joint. The 14 bolt will actually need a shorter driveshaft maybe a 1/2" or 3/4" or so. But, I already had a slip-style driveshaft so I was good to go.
