thinking of doing home made trailing arms for a rear end swap for a project truck . its a 2wd C&C truck and was thinking of home made arms and mounts for bags . planning to use the stock front spring hangers if possible . add in a trac/panhard bar setup . i was thinking a pair of airbags off a med duty truck or bus setup .

this will be a road vehicle only . mostly intown or highway . no crazy stuff or flexing .

anyone got good / bad feedback on this ?

One of the best rear suspension setups in my humble opinion, there are aftermarket arms and panhard bars available with bag mounts on them already to save time and R&D. I actually just set up a buddy's '70 C10 last week for a utility body with air ride. There's not much too it and the aftermarket for the air setups is pretty vast. I can get more pics and info from what setups he's using if you need

Check out hot rods to hell. They do after market trailing arm setups

Have you ever checked out Dave Chappelle's work on Dirt Every Day? He did a great trailing arm suspension with the bags on the arms on Mom's Spaghetti (an F250). Seems to be his specialty.

Just use the whole air ride out of a single axle truck like a Freightliner. It is pretty much a bolt in.
