Cool CUCV manual on CD...ebay

Looks like it has more information, covering more manuals, than I got.

I don't use mine much at all though. The way the military prints the manuals I have always found it hard to look up a procedure in. Usually I end up leafing through them until I find the info I need. With them on a CD it just makes it doubly hard to look something up by browsing.

Good to have a set as a reference and if you find the info you can print that section out:D

Only thing I don't like about those Ebay auctions is all that same information is available from the gov for free... just have to know where to find it.

Well I figure for $9 someone else did the legwork for me. It's the price of convenience IMO, and it appears to cover a lot of stuff.

Of course when I was in the national guard I could have had all of those books for free if I asked... wish I would have grabbed the printed copies when I had the chance.

I've gotten info off that site as well but there are only 16 military manuals on that site. The eBay guy is offering a lot more.

The information is of public record so you are paying for the leg work. Once you have the information though you can legally copy & distribute it as you like.

Haven't checked if the SteelSoldiers.com site has copies of all the manuals listed.;)
