cool info

Thanks... Now I know that my truck rolled out of the factory with 160hp which means 25 years later I'm rolling around with about 60hp.. Awsome.:D

I wish it had production totals. I have never seen that info published anywhere.

Anyone know where to find that?

I have been looking for those since I bought my Jimmy, I have been told there were not very many 89-91 diesels. I have not found anywhere yet if I do I will let you know

Not that it's a super reliable source, but I remember awhile back looking up info for my suburban on Autozone's site and if you selected the 6.2 it said something like 2% of them came in diesel. No hard numbers but that's a pretty tiny sliver any way you look at it.

I just checked again and their site doesn't give % of gas vs diesel anymore.:doah:

Cool site. I think I got some stuff from them ten years or so ago if they are who I think they are.

Rock Auto...and I think AdvanceAuto?...list the percentages of vehicles with an engine configuration. Keeps telling me 1% of the Blazers in '89 had diesels. Not sure if that's actually all K5's or just Chevy Blazers.
