So Cal.
When my mom passed away I of course brought home all her belongings. One thing I knew I was really going to like was her little adjustable stool she would use to sit on for taking a shower. It's an awesome little stool. Goes as low as about 13 1/2 and about 20 1/2 high. Each leg is individually fully adjustable in height. Great for steps. You could stand on it in the center but it's light duty and not ment for that. And has hang over sides which would make you slam the groung but quick, but for sitting it's great.

It's REALLY light. only about 1 1/2 lb. The legs are one piece tube flattened so they can cross over in the center at the X point, and legs are criss crossed. Has rubber feet to keep it from slipping. I love it. Don't know if their expensive but would imagine they might be, just cause they are for elderly people. If one was so inclined you could price one out, or fabricate one yourself. You can but the pop out clips for tubing. Just thught I would share. I use it all the time.

noted..... my decrepid arse is always looking to be parked! :haha: actually that would be perfect for me working on/removing/installing outdrives on the boats...

I like the adjustable height legs....I have a hard time getting up off my rolling seat, its like 13" off the ground and my knees are giving me hell about it. Lets not even talk about getting up off the floor.....oof

Ha ha! I sell those buy the butt load!!!! Medicare pays me $110.00 for those. I pay $19.00. Check amazon. Free shipping. Or CL. On there all the time. Come with or without a removable back. I sell about 40 per week.

Thats too funny. Hell start selling them here, bet guys would want them. As I said I live the little thing. It doesn't roll but sometimes I don't want that. I have a rolling work chair too and use it, but I like options. This thing it super lite, I really like that aspect of it too.

Ya, and it wont rust. All stainless. It's called a shower chair. Medicare code E0245NU. Supports up to 250lbs. He'll, I have a few in my garage and never thought about using them!!

It also has a cane holder!:haha:

I think mine has Aluminum legs.

Its all comming to an end soon. Competitive bidding is starting this month. All of the medical suppliers submit bids for every item to Medicare. Lowest few bids win. Everyone else is out. Also. They deny items often, which means I don't get paid and lose money. Medicare pays for half of items I bill. The other half are free to the patient. The rules state I deliver then bill. Never know if I am going to get paid. Its a phucked up system.

So, I make $80.00 off that one shower chair. First I have to go and make sure it fits the shower and do a mobility visit. Then I call the doctor and get a Rx. Then I check to make sure that its a valid Medicare number. Wait a while to get all the paperwork, make a file, go back to the patients house to make the delivery. Thats 2 trips to the house. Could be 30 miles plus per trip. Do the paperwork, bill Medicare and wait 2 to 3 weeks to see if I get paid. Not much profit.

Man, if you knew how much stuff costs from my work you would be REALLY pissed off for the rest of your life. :D. Fleecing the government big time.

I was reading along ready to type up a pissed off comment on making $3500+ a week on ripping off the system but you guys figured it out by the time I got to the bottom.

Carry on :)

They sell those in the medical section of any walmart. I had one when I spiral fractured my leg years ago because I wasnt supposed to put any weight on the leg at all.

Heres a cool one with a backrest.

if the legs folded up, it wouldnt be a bad thing to throw in the trail rig. Right height for working on hubs, sturdy and stable enough to stand on when working under the hood, and it would be ok for sitting around the fire especially with the backrest.
