That's pretty much my forecast for another couple of months, my garage has one window that I already have a fan in.

Now my garage door has misters!



Now I'm almost comfortable enough to start real work.

yeah, but you live out in BFE 29 Palms!!! Last time I was out there, I considered it a desert. Has it changed any? I could really use a hat with misters, but I'd settle for a garage setup like that.

Have you thought about a window A/C unit? I have one of these in a large room in my house (about the size of your garage, but insulated...) and it rocks.

It keeps the room around 70 degrees, even when it's 100+ outside. I got it on sale for $299.

Might have to look at those...utilizes are included in my "rent". I might swap my fan for with the misters from lowes too.

I have a window swamp cooler that works fantastic for my garage. It'd do just fine at 29 Stumps.

Mine is a Bonaire Durango. It uses thick pads, but has a very low footprint - only sticks out a foot or so on the ouside. It has an axial fan in the pass-thru, versus a squirrel-cage fan like most swamp coolers.

It's very efficient.
