I have a weird coolant leak. It drips down the back of the engine right above the drive shaft. The weird part is it only happens when the engine runs for an extremely short period of time. If I move it from the front of my house into the driveway it will leak. If I drive for an hour in stop and go traffic with the air on high and its 90 out then park it, it won't leak. I'm assuming its some kind of pressure build up before the thermostate opens. Any ideas?

Coolant hose on the back side of the intake? Take a pic of the engine compartment. Or maybe intake leak or freeze plug? But that doesnt make sense to ne that it stops if it was the last two.... Leaking heater core maybe :dunno: have you checked the oil to make sure its not mixing in?

pressure test gauge /pump will find it real quick . :D

and a mirror on a stick for looking in to the back tight area's.
