I ordered a stock coolant overflow tank for my 79 K5 from LMC. They sent me this monster and I can't find a single reference as to where it mounts. Does anyone know if this is the correct piece and if so, where it mounts?IMG_0958.JPGIMG_0959.JPG

should bolt to core support right next to rad tank . smaller straight nipple with slits gets hose down in it from rad nipple for overflow.

sorry no pics as I play with 81-up style . but have seen a few of yours.

You could have used a Clamato juice jug like the former owner of my suburban did.....HA!

i prefer 1gal washer fluid jug clamped in place of the charcoal canister everyone removes . fits real good in the clamp bracket .

My '82 has had a Prestone jug in place of the missing overflow tank since 2003!..I just drilled a hole in the cap and shoved the hose in it...and used the required extra length zip tie to secure it of course..
