put a EGR valve on my 87 K5 today and noticed the pipe on the passenger side at back going into intake is starting to seep. This metal pipe goes to intake and heater hose. Where can I find or does anyone have one they want to get rid of for me? Thanks Brandon

If It's one of those quick connect styles, remove the whole thing, install a barbed hose fitting and clamp a new rubber heater hose to it.

Not following you there 100%. Found that GM part # was 15554921 and they no longer offer it! 4xcrazy your saying put a barb fitting into intake manifold and then run heater hose to it, this correct?

Yep. I did the same a few years ago. The part from GM (if you can find it) is crazy expensive ($95) and it's actually better to install a barbed hose adapter there so you can repair the truck on the trail with standard heater hose.

Got her fixed for now! Used a straight barbed fitting that I am not 100% happy with how the hose route with it , so might try 45 degree but for now works! Thanks 4xcrazy!!!! Every wonder why when see something like this you panic then after find a solution your like damn why didn't I just relax a min and think of that!!!! I sometimes jump gun and should try to take it in for a few first..... Thanks again :waytogo:
