anyone know where i can get a coolant temp switch to control fans (one that would turn on at a specific temperature)
i am putting electric fans in my blazer and i would like to run one off a temp switch then the other off a manual switch

I bought mine from jegs, none of the autopart stores had the type I needed.

Depends on what you need.

Napa's "Echlin" catalog (if they have a store with one local to you) has all the specs of the temp senders in it, easy to come up with something from there.

You can go on napas website and look them up also, most have the temp/thread size. But, most of the good temps (170-190) have metric threads, which won't fit standard holes.

I've heard it said that the Buick GN used a pretty low temp switch, 1987 had an electric fan, I know that much, so might be a good place to look for a low temp switch, if running a low temp thermostat.

thanks everyone i found one through a local parts store
i got a painless one, it was alittle more than i wanted to spend but they had a variaty of temps and even better was they had it in stock
