just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on hoy to keep my 350 cooler. New aluminum radiator? How much better are these. What is so special about a 4 row radiator? for my 700r4 any tips on keeping it cooler too? Already got an deep aluminum tranny pan.

the big questions is WHY? Is there a problem with it overheating? If so, you need to find the culprit, not bandaid the issue.

To answer your questions:

ALuminum disapates heat better, so you get better cooling

4 row will give you more capacity, but also takes more room to fit

Get an oil cooler to help keep motor cool somewhat

Get a tranny cooler for sure , for the 700r. and bypass the tranny cooler incorporated in the OEM radiator, this alone will help cool the motor and the tranny by seperating them.

no big prob. It just warmed up more than usual the other day. I will be towing a 24 ft boat so I just want to play it safe when dealing w/ the big hills when it is hot. Any brands to suggest?

thats a lot of boat lol, I would definately be me more concerned with the transmission temp. An auxillary cooler would definately be a +

I have a major heat problem also...I tow a 16 footer in 90deg weather and my tranny is anywhere from 200 to maxing my gauge at 250 (not good from what I gather). I have a B&M tranny cooler, aux fan on the cooler for slow speeds, and an extra capacity aluminum tranny pan and I still cant keep the bastard cold.

What condition is your radiator in?

If it's not brand new, and you haven't had it tested, it is suspect, regardless of age or perceived effectiveness.
