Has anyone installed Corbeau seats? I am looking at the Sport Seat and the Moab as potential replacements for my suburban. My truck has the factory bench and it looks great but holy wow it's uncomfortable. I like the idea of the Corbeau seats because I can get them heated and they sell the brackets to make it a direct bolt in. So those seats and a tuffy console...how would that look? Has anyone done it?

I put them in my k5 and am not at all impressed. Complete junk in my view. Mine are the sport seats. The vinyl is so thin that it gets tears in it super easily, with even the slightest touch. After just a few months mine have little gouges and tears all over them, and that was with being ultra careful. The foam in one of my bolsters had broken down in less than a month, they warrantied but still. Worst $1000 I have spent on redoing my K5.

Also they ARE NOT BOLT IN!!! I don't care what they tell you. The brackets that they have in no way, shape, or form fit. The first set they sent me were for a s10. The second set were about 4 inches too short (and those were supposed to be the correct ones). I ended up simply using their rails and having to completely rebuild the actual bracket.

The tuffy consoles are great though. Absolutely love their products.

Would you recommend a different brand?

I decided on PRP's after reading lots of reviews on variety of offroad forums. Also liked the fact I could chose a taller, wider seat in a wide range of fabrics and colors. I didn't want a black seat...

Nice! What did you do for brackets?

I have had them for some time now and they are just fine. Mine are the suspension sets. Got them from the blemished purchase option on the web site. 100.00 dollars off each seat. One had a very small knife cut on the outside of the shoulder bolster. The other one had just a marred spot. Both are left seats but work just fine. I had to do a little modification to the tracks but minimal.

I just picked up a set of pro seats and sliders. Haven't got them in yet but they seem better than my broken down buckets I have right now

I’ve had some, the quality isn’t what it once was. If I was gonna go aftermarket I’d hold out for some recaro etc

I bought Corbeau’s seats and sold them and went with Matercraft Rubicon’s with Much lower bolster for ease of seat Exit and Entrance. Huge difference. For DD use the bolster is too high for my liking. For racing sure, but Not for a DD. Just my .02 cents

How difficult is it to put 2003 Tahoe seats in a 1991 suburban? I found a set for a good price.

Are there any chevy seats that are direct bolt in for the square body trucks? That bench seat is super uncomfortable.
