cordless drills : options

I have owned 4 DeWalts over the 7 years I have been in my current job. The first 2 were stolen (14.4XRP and 14.4 Right-Angle), the 2nd pair I have had for about 4 years now. The XRP stuff has a 2 year warranty on the batteries (had one quite literally go up in smoke, replaced no questions with receipt) and I think they are built pretty well.

I still use 14.4V stuff, I know that everyone and their mother will tell me that 18V or more is the only way to go but the XRP stuff has a ton of torque and I have never had a job that the drill could not do. Plus I use a right-angle a LOT and those 18V examples are very off-balance and heavy for the type of work that I do. If I want hours of run time I plug into a big battery (wall outlet) and let my Milwaukee do the work.
