Cordless Impacts?

i got that one as a gift from my boss. it works great. i needed to take off some dually wheels form a 14bff. wasn't sure it would take'em off, but it did.

All i know is that i want a 3/8" drive one. If i really need 1/2" capacity, im going to use one attached to a compressor....

sometimes you need the portability. i don't have to drag stuff down to the garage to use the big tools. just get an 1/2" to 3/8" adapter.

True. I was just thinking i wanted it for more small disassembly stuff than stuff where i would want a 1/2 drive.

Well I'm going to go grab a truck this weekend and I want one so I can swap some stockers on it for transportation. And I've had a need for one a few times in the past. i figure it'll be a decent investment.

I have a snap on 3/8 and my buddy has a dewalt 3/8 his has way more power. I would go with a dewalt. Some time's I think snap ons power tools are way over rated.

I have one. Used it for 3 flats on my 38' 5th wheel in the same day. (new tires) It is great to carry and not have to work a lug wrench on traffic side of vehicle. Got down to 7 minutes total time on the last one. (only had 3 spares, they were the old tires)

Ingersoll Rand has a 3/8ths now as well. Guy at work just bought it and it seems pretty nice as well. I've heard nice things about the milwaukee 1/2 too

Snap on tools are WAY overated but their cordless impact is actually worth the money. That thing has more balls then my 1/2" Mac tools air impact. My brother has told me stories about dropping them, getting them wet, etc (he works in a junkyard) and they just keep ticking. You won't find a more powerful cordless impact with that kind of durability.

Ingersol Rand (maker of Mac tools) makes good stuff too but the snap on is the top dog.

My SnapOn 1/2 inch impact is a beast, I love it! We had a Dewalt where I used to work at and it didnt have as much power, although I think it was a 14.4 and my Snapon is an 18. Anyway you go a cordless impact is a great investment!

Very few products from Mac are made by Ingersoll. Their most popular air guns are AirCat guns, and their cordless stuff is some unknown company. Definitely not IR, I can guarantee that much.
