I got slapped with a 80 dollar core charge for my new calipers (14bff disc conversion) :angry1: Is that what they usually charge?? Does anyone have any calipers they can donate so I can get my refund!?! :D

If you got the caddy calipers that is about what they cost, if you just got the normal 3/4 ton fronts then you got screwed :)

I paid $17.00 each for my 10 bolt cores. I had some old calipers from a 2 wheel drive truck that I stuck back in the box and brought in for my core. They don't know what's in the box, just stick any caliper in there. :D

thats crazy, i can get you two good shape k20 10 bolt calipers if travis junks my poor 83 k20 soon

Maybe go to a junkyard and see if you can get some cheap and then use 'em for your core. $80 is a lot of money.

or just throw some chunks of steel that look like they go smoeware, and look for the stupid kid at the parts counter, and just look at him real stupid and say dont you know?

get your money back and run!!

Call around to different parts stores. AutoZone was really high on their core charge, but O'Reilly's was just a few dollars for the same caliper.
