corp 14 ff questions.

hey guys. I tried to do a search but does anyone know a a good thread showing a 14 ff swap in a blazer/ 1/2 ton? My situation is a bought a k30 3+3 roller. it was a srw too . I took the tranny, transfer case and axles. I have rebuilt the dana 60 and i know that is a direct bolt on almost. Eye balling with a type I am getting 40" center to center on the perchs of the 14 ff. sound right? with out pulling my 12 bolt i am getting 47 1/4" from top spring pad to top spring pad. spring pad is 4 7/8" wide so subtracting one i get 42 3/8" center to center.Sound right? does any recomend a good conversion kit as I am going to go with disc brakes.

1 ton is 40.5", 1/2 and 3/4 ton are 42.5".

You need to move each perch out 1".

okay thanks for the info. Yea I really like the diy4x4 brackets. Why so many holes though. I have seen some conversions kits out there. any view on these?

I think to fit two different axles...the old corp Eaton and the 14BFF.

Yeah the 14bff you have will need the perches moved or you find find someone who has one from a 3/4 ton and trade.
What did you do with the body and frame?
I was trying to reach you but you were unreachable.

sorry iceman for the absence. My life unfortunally went to hell and a hand bag. As for the frame i lost it. In my absence the guy who owned the property where i had it stored got tired of it and just gave it away. I was rather bumb. sry for not getting back to you
