Correct Color To Paint GM Rally Wheels?

they call it "argent" I don't know the paint code, but places like LMC trucks and some gm restoration houses sell it in spray cans.

Ummm you want the exact correct color for the wheels, but you want to pick it up at the local hardware store? Kinda confused me there. Get some Tremclad silver rust paint and go to town. Or are you getting judged at a big time car show? Personally, I think gloss black looks awesome with the chrome centers and rings.

What I mean is this....I have a John Deere and you can buy the correct color paint at Lowes or Home Depot for half what John Deere wants.

The aluminum (or was it silver?) color of the Rustoleum Professional is pretty close. That's what I painted my pro-rally wheels with. They survived a Michigan winter without rust but they're in the basement now.

I painted my evinrude silver, when they dried they had a blue cast to them. I kind of like it, it really sets off darker trucks. Makes the chrome stand out alot more than silver rallies but doesn't look funny.
