Hello guys, I have a doubt regarding the correct fuel for my Jimmy 1980. It has a stock 350 with 4 barrel carburetor, which I understand I should feed with at least 87 octane gas (US rating system). However, here in Europe they do not sell anything with octane rating as low as that, the lowest is 95, which in US system equals to 90-91. Is it ok? Or do I need to modify the engine accordingly not to burn its' valves? In reality there are not that many options open for me. I would really appreciate your help.

you're fine with a higher octane.

The more common mistake is running a leaded fuel with a catalytic converter. Those two don't mix well :D

Yup, You don't do any harm using higher than needed octane gas.
