I'm looking to replace my seats with leather seats out of a newer tahoe or something like that. I would like to have an idea of how much some of these seat are going for out of a salvage yard or new. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I have seen them on a few sites as high as $300 a seat for power leather sets. I haven't been able to find a decent set in any wrecking yard yet to put into Krusty.

I've only been able to find the leather seat covers for the cost, but not the entire seat. Where did you find the electric seats?

The website I used is http://www.barbersauto.net/ They are known as Certified Auto Recyclers and will have the seats, it is just a matter of finding the right color and contacting them.

I also did a search for auto recyclers on google and found a few that allow you to search their inventory. It has been about a year so I don't know how accurate my price was.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I just bought a set of seats out of an 09 Z71 tahoe. Got the front seats, and the third seat for just under 900 shipped to my door. Used Ebay. However, I chose to go with cloth instead of leather, because my M1009 does not have A/C, and i didnt want my daughters legs to be burning up in the summer.

I'm looking for a 40/20/40 split bench seat out of a later model to put in my K5. If funding permits, I would go for heated, leather, lumbar and might consider having it reupolstered to match the red/black interior.. it would have to be a damn good deal though because I know the $$ would add up quick.

That sounds like a good deal. How was the mounting?

I still have not mounted them yet. I am in transit from Afghanistan to home. I will take detailed pics of the whole process when I do it in a week or two.

My understanding of the Tahoe is that the brackets are not going to work in a Blazer. The Tahoe has a design simliar to the Sub under the seats, not a flat floor. Most people I have seen do this either created their own brackets, or used pickup seats from a late model GM.

Yeah I know they wont work stock. I am going to fab up some custom brackets. Again, ill detail it so others can do the same if they would like.

what years of a late model GM? Up to '99? Can it be newer?

I have seen the newer versions with the integrated seat belts used. That's what I planned to use in Krusty if I can ever get the cash together and find a nice set.
