Cost to power gain ratio.... 6.5L vs 4BT vs 6BT

What kind of trans was the truck running? that sounds good!! the trick is in the little details, cylinder head precups, high flow injectors, four plunger injection pump "db-2831" not db2829, timing gears, free flowing exhaust, most importantly keeping the EGT down below 1150*, as long as these are similar the 6.2 /6.5 will produce similar results.
The 6.2 is capable of matching a stock 6.5 for power with just the banks exhaust and turbo kit. You need other mods along the lines of what I mentioned above to get the 6.2 to produce 300hp and 500lb-ft at the crank. Like the 6.5, the 6.2 has 21.3:1 compression, the same heads, the same pistons (brand, not size...) same crank, same bearings, etc... Unless the banks kit is pushing the 6.2 to 20-25PSI, there is no way it can put down those kinds of numbers with just the turbo and exhaust. At those boost levels, you are just as likely to blow a head gasket on a 6.2 as you are a 6.5.

Taken from the Banks Power website.. Sidewinder® Turbo System - Ultimate upgrade for 6.2L workhorses. Out-performs GM's 6.5L factory turbo or any other turbo. Best gains: +60 hp and +115 lb-ft (rear wheel) plus 10% more MPG. Starting with about 150hp and 320lb-ft of torque, that would give about 210hp and 435lb-ft with the upgrade... at the crank, so about 170-180hp and 380-400lb-ft at the wheels... if you are lucky.
