Methinks we've tried name tags at the BBQ, a few years ago ('05 or somesuch?) - a sticker tag in the registration package, and you were supposed to write your name on it and wear it. As far as I remember, it didn't make a big difference - you had the Colorado, Arizona, and California gangs sitting together at different tables, and only very few people actually 'mingling'... I'm not saying I'm against it, just reporting...
Now, if we had a digital projector, and a screen, we could match people to pictures or videos of their trucks... besides the lights at the park, is there power? Methinks there is, I think Dirk ran a PA system one of these years...

Yes he did and there is power. Putting something up on the screen would be cool but would take someone with the equipment and willing to do it.
