ok here it goes i just finished swapping my d60 under my blazer and haven't finished building it yet.

i have the spicer lockouts and the plastic knob is worn pretty bad and where the oring seals the plastic is almost gone and its not going to seal very well. is there a rebuild kit or something to solve this?

what is the largest tires i should run with the greasable spicer joints? i run in a lot of mud and water so i think that i should run the greasables but was wondering about their strength. i read somewhere that they are almost just as strong as the solids but i was just wondering what everyone is running with them.

thanks everyone

watch ebay for dials . and there is a guy that lists bolt / oring kits for them when dials pop up for sale.

as to u-joints dont forget greasable will let water in faster also then true non greasable joints as to the design of the seals.

i have been using non greasables in my drive shafts for years and the ones at the pinion always get the grease washed out from all the mud and water i drive through so i thought it might be good to be able to gease them. but i don't know maybe its different when used in the shafts

I run the sealed Spicer joints in the axles. Greasables are fine, but remember if you dont stay on top of servicing them then as mentioned they actually let water in more easily.

well i just ordered my sealed spicer joints i found them for 34.95 each and couldn't pass up that price.
as for the dials i still haven't been able to find any. if someone has a lead on a couple and the orings let me know
thanks guys for the help

set of hubs last week and now a set this week on ebay. the norm is few sets of hubs then dials pop up for sale and then oring/bolt kits after. so keep your eye's open on ebay .
