Couple of questions

Ok first off i am doing a body swap on a k5 any helpful hints to go by?

Second is there somewhere i can check the codes in teh glove box to see what the previous truck had in it?

i just got done doing a body swap on my K5, the best advice i can give is double check everything twice to make sure that everything is disconnected and make sure you have a lot of freinds and a plan when you go to pull the tubs off. I used 2 engine hoists and a sling to lift it while i rolled out one frame and in the other, but i think id try something diffent if i had to do it again.

One other question i have is the old tub is a 91 with fuel injection tbi and full loaded. The new tub is mid 80's and full loaded what do i have to swap over to make the fuel injection work all of the wireing harness or just some of it thanks Denny.

you have to swap over all the wiring to keep the fuel injection. Body swaps are not that bad, it can be done in a day with a few people helping. If you need help with the wirng and injection let me know i have wirerd a few trucks with injection

Ya i have built some crazy things so i am not to scared of doing it i was hopeng i could gut both trucks wireing and then just install the harness in the new one i figure i should have it done in a weekend with some of my buddies.
