So one of the reasons I haven't been around is I have been busy when I'm not down with head problems. Built a couple utility racks for the local power company. It's good money and I hope they keep using me. Mine compared to what they had previously are really nice. Anyhoo pics

And a bumper.

Made an adjustable base for their wire rack for their big spools on the one I built the bumper for.

It's nice cause they usually don't need stuff right away so I can build when I am able.

My buddy who got me hooked up with these jobs said about 5 guys want front bumpers too.

Yah I hope they stay with me. I need to get more pics of the 5500 dodge. It will be way nicer when I get the shop done the Ford actually fit in my garage but the dodge was about 4 feet too long.

All the mounting holes are countersunk bolts so no protruding heads no bed space taken up.

The really weird thing is they pay what I charge. You guys who have done fab for money know how that goes

Not far from Sweetwater, might need a rear bumper for my Burb!!

Friends in high places and good work........

So happy things are going well for you Eric. Nice job.

Nope its the house in Wyoming both of those trucks would have fit into my garage there. But if all goes to plan I will in the next couple years have a very nice shop. Until them I'm stuck in a 2 car garage. Which really isn't bad unless your used to bigger. Should help me get organized though. When it warms up ( so juneish) I am gonna start working on getting the garage organized better

Yeah, doing work for people that just want it done, and don't complain about the price is gravy.

Dis be true

When are we gonna get a burnout video? LOL

For you guys that don't know. Eric has a cousin that has a 5.3 half ton pickup, like 2000ish. The 5.3 was running more like a 0.6625. The intake valves were not closing all the way and it was blowing by into the intake. BAD. Eric calls and asks about replacing the engine. Well, found a nice 6.0 for them. They headed up to me on Thanksgiving. Started pulling the engine the next day after we picked up the new one. They busted their asses, to say the least. I pointed, laughed and kept them fed. Eric got to learn on the broken exhaust bolt problem and removal. Other than that it was an easy swap. Late Saturday after I tuned it they took it for a spin. I stayed in the shop and laughed as the tires would now rotate much more freely.

Stupid exhaust bolts what a pain those were.

Josh didn't mention I ended up with the old 5.3. Got some cleaning to do in the garage and then tearing it down to find out the problem.
