couple questions... two different trucks!

okay so first. its about my 81 k5. 350/350/208.
I put the truck in 4 low. And Pulled forward about 20-30 feet. and it seemed like my front tires were locking up or binding? tires were chirping.
is that Just because I was using 4wd. LOw on Pavement?
or what could the problem be. also.. I leak Tcase fluid. after using 4lo.

next question its a 75. k20 350/sm465/205
this is a tranny/clutch related question. When I start the truck there's an odd noise coming from the Tranny area. sounds like the Pilot bearing going out. but it makes the noise with the truck idling in Neutral. But when I'm driving, and leave my foot resting on the clutch pedal. I can feel bad vibrations through the pedal.

Are the tires all identical. sounds like tire size issue, other than that

make sure PO didn't swap gears in back and not match the front ones

For the K5, all 4 tires are same size, matching set. I'm going to jack the truck up. and mark the yoke.. try to figure out what gears I have in the front and rear.. hope they match..

I knew something didnt sound right about pilot. but havent had a clutch in a LONG time. oh well

about the 75 k20. its hard to get into gear. so. im guessing its time for some parts..
this is my buddies truck, he just picked it up. Trying to help him with it!
