so i started putting the bushings into my front springs while reading the instructions, everything's going fine... but i was thinking about it, and measured the width of the new springs, they're only 2.5" wide, whereas the ones on my truck now are 3"... will there be a problem...?

also, who has put on a lift kit WITHOUT any steering correction, right away...? i'm itching to put the 4" on, but i'm waiting on the draglink and drop brake lines... my lines are fine, and the kit came with drop brackets, but i want to do this right, and put the new brake lines on, plus a new draglink, but... just waiting on $$$...!

thanks all...

you will see there is little to no room left between the bushings on your 3" stock. then the 2.5 aftermarket has wider bushings to take up the room.

its done all the time and thats the way thay come. it will be fine.

and you will loose turning to 1 direction with no steering correction with 4" lift. and dont flex out the springs or you will pop the hoses possible with no drop brackets or longer lines.

and dont drive it with no shocks. i did it ones and broke 5 leafs total in the rear packs.

ok, i'll just wait it out till i get the other things i need... i guess it's been long enough, i can wait just a little more... i think i will do my rear springs first since they're broken, then do the fronts when i can... yeah, so what if it will look like a drag-car...

Did that, lifted my rear and then went and smogged the truck, I got weird looks all the way.:D:haha:

I'm running my four inch with no steering correction. I have alot of play in the steering when it's goin down the road

yeah, for a couple of weeks i'll be driving wiht the 235/85-16's... that should look REAL nice... but i've got 35's i just need to mount...
