My buddy colin with a pig. 38"

we didnt have an accurate scale, Id guess 8-10 and 22-25. A good difference in girth between the two

I caught one similar in size to my brothers fish, native, released.

Another buddies dad caught one, but we didnt get pics

Colin caught another one, before the one he killed. it was native and released

Weekends suck during springer season, we had boats talking **** to us while we were getting our gear setup. Where we were fishing, you have to use a boat to drag your lines out in the river. And the trollers were crying about it. Theres plenty of river to fish, but a lot of salmon fishermen are cry babies. No fights, and no guns pulled, so it was a good day :haha:

I have been working out of town for a while and missed the last half of fishing season last year.
Came home to my father-in-law telling me he is selling his boat! :eek1::mad:

But, then I found out it was to pick up a 20ft Boston Whaler!!!:D He gets it tomorrow. I hope to go out on Lake St. Clair (the 6th Great Lake) before I head back to South Carolina.

Looks good

what time is diner? Any way, if you don't mind, is that cherry wood, or pine, and how long does it cook for. It looks tasty. nice catch by the way.:saweet:

lol, im a little late on the reply...

Its Cedar, it cooked for about a half hour... And to be honest, it didnt turn out as good this time, as it did the first time i tried it...

This time around i used a weber charcoal grill. Last time i used a Propane grill with a thermo on it, so i could watch the heat closer...

The cedar flavor was just too strong this time...
