finally got me a trans, got my stainless steel tread plate on the bed with led tail lights, built some bumpers and a front diff guard, still have to get a passenger door and paint the other side and put some steel tread plate in the bed, things on my list are 4.56's 3.08 and 38.5's suck, shackle flip and 37's, shaft kit for the 203 and some other goodies from the site sponsors

I aked about this bed in another one of your threads, but never got a response. I like it, but I think i`d ditch the diamond plate, or just spray it black. I really thought about using a similar bed for my project, but am going with a shortened step side bed instead.
 
tested it out a little but not too much got stuck in what we call the big hole up in my buddies field. did pretty good put in a msd 6al with a adjustable rev chip set at 4,000rpm and some single chamber flowmasters sounds pretty cool bouncing off it, and hopefully i can keep it from spinning a bearing like 350's are known for

Really dig the truck. I'd ditch the rear diff color and go OD green with it too though :D

other than that it's cool and i kinda like the diamond plate
 
yea i havent got to it yet i got to get some more diff fluid so i can take it off, yea the diamond plate is staying like stated before it is a stainless steel diamond plate so painting it would be dumb i am going to get some regular steel diamond plate to finish the floor and sides of the bed
 
why you set the rev limiter so low? i got mine set at 6500 on the 6al i run and haven't had a minuets trouble with it. just asking.

i have it set there cause it is a 92 lo5 tbi engine with a edelbrock intake and carb and i have heard that these swirlport heads arnt any good over 4500 anyways

and yes i built the bed
