Do you have to have that thin torque converter cover on or if its off is that ok? I just bought a truck wo one and am wondering, also i think i called it right. Its on the bottome of the trani right after the engine. Thanks guys

Flywheel cover. Get one.

Ppl run w/o them, but i don't want anythign to be able to jump up in there.

ya, id get one, if u go anywhere near mud, even if you dont, it just seems odd to me not to have one:rolleyes:

I would recommend getting it, they provide a lot of protection to the front seals, as well as the rear main. I have run a vehicle without one, but it was because I was watching for a leak, I wouldn't recommend it for long term use.

Yep get one, that said I have been running with out one for 3 years now. Been meaning to get one for about 3 years too.

mines got the brace rods that go to the motor mounts. i wouldnt run without one.
