Well I did it, I bought one! He will mold it in a couple days and get it sent out. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif I chose the bolt on, much easier to deal with.

big pappa b, how hard is it to lift the hood off? I see you have an 80 which means your hood includes the cowling slots correct? If your hood isn't bad, then mine should be even easier. I've set my steel hood in place by myself, but I wouldn't want to do it often.

I don't have a full fiberglass hood. I just moled on a 2" cowl onto my steel hood and cut out underneath. I still use the factory hinges. I have had a full glass on on my old race car before. Pop the pins and lift it off. It is easier with 2 people but can be done with one

I got the Goodmark all steel hood for my '89 thru Yearone. Both are local, so I picked it up and saved on the shipping. I haven't put it on yet, but it seems to be high quality.
