messing around with the sub this morning, found that my stock exhaust manifold is cracked pretty good, has anyone run into this and what would cause this to happen, stock 350 tbi, guess it's time to get some thorley's.

It is very common with old exhaust manifolds to crack over time. After cast iron steel has heated up and cooled down several thousand times...eventually it cracks.

Had this happen to an old car i had, knew i had an exhaust leak, but it was weird, it was noisy when first started up, then after everything was warmed up, it would quiet down.
Took that manifold off thinkin it was a bad gasket and found it to be broken.
First i've ever had that happen.
Might add also, that was on a stock 305, nothing special about it.
