I‘ e read in here somewhere that the 75 tops had a reinforced top and that they don’t have the issues cracking like the 73-74 tops did. So i came across these today and snagged them. I have my top off my 73 and a top that was on a 74. Neither have this in the rear window felt channel. Can some one tell me if these are in the 75’s? And how they are attached? Any pictures?

I also want to know this answer. Pulled the top off my 73 a couple years ago and added a softtop because I was cracking the rear.
I wanted it pulled off before I permanently destroyed it, but it has damage.

Whoa I didn't know about these. I'll check my full top when I get home. It is supposedly a '74 but I am not sure exactly what year the k5 was it came off of. Is this on the later tops? I can check one from the early '80s too. If we get the answer on this I'd love the measurements of these so can make some for my full top if it doesn't have them. Just to be sure I know where to look, its in the top corners where the window felt for the rear tailgate glass goes correct?

When I get them I'll take some pictures of where they go. I just don't know what the correct way to fasten them would be. The one top I have is almost junk so I can practice on it. I googled the part numbers and couldnt find anything at all about them.

Alright I got to look at both the tops I have on hand. My full top definitely does not have that in there, what's weird is neither does my halftop. There are some rivets inside that area where the channel goes on the half top. There are no metal braces though unless they're inside it and that's what the rivets are holding. Hopefully somebody chimes in and can get us a picture. You ought to check on the Facebook page for full convertible Blazers/Jimmys and see if they can get some pictures of a '75 top.

Got the parts today. I would assume that you’d drill that one rivet out, line up the holes and install a new rivet. Then drill the remaining holes and install more rivets.
