Has any of yall used this? If so how did it work and what size compressor did you use with it?

I had much better luck with the blast cabinet than an external one like that.

this one was given to me.thats probably why it was.going to blast my transfer case with it while its out,if it works worth a crap

I have the same one but with a much larger tank. I have a 220v Craftsman 5hp 15 gallon compressor and it worked great. I set up a spot in my garage with thick plastic sheeting to create a blasting room and used it to strip my frame. Messy but it worked well.

I have a LOT of time with both blast cabinets and also blaster like you have pictured. I used to powder coat and blasting goes along with the game.

The blaster is no where near as important as the media that you use as far as how well it works. As long as you have a descent nozzle that is not worn out... you will get good results.

For a one time use and for something like a transfer case... anything less than a 30 gallon and you will hate it. Even the 30 gallon will run out real fast. I used to use an old industrial 60 gallon 220v... and I wished many times I had a bigger and better compressor. But, I would be blasting for hours.

A big thing to remember... sand (silicon) is VERY hazardous to your health. There is a reason that companies never use sand anymore.
