Hello..
Is anyone running 16x8 crager white spoke rims?
I want to get bigger tires but also go a little bit bigger than 15” rim to reduce the side wall height. My assumption it will be safer.

I currently have steelies with 33x10.5x15
Looking to go 295x75r16

anyone have any examples or recommendations?
I looked on the what will look like with XX tires etc and couldn’t find any 16” white stars.

these are the rims.

Wheel, Nomad I, Steel, White, 16 in. x 8 in., 6 x 5.50 in. Bolt Circle, 4.50 in. Backspace, Each

As the end user you will notice no change going from 15 to 16 other than the visual change. You may notice something if you change the load rating.

Yes. They will tuck up under the truck pretty tight though.

I just looked under the truck and not sure they will fit. The Tie rod ends have about 1/8th clearance now with stock steely and I believe the backspace is 4”?

anyone on here running 16” white spokes?
Just not sure how the math is working.
Stock rims have a zero offset and so do these, but the backspace is 4 and 4.5.
Am I calculating wrong?

Dont forget the beads are a half inch further away from the center too.

if you want to firm up sidewall flex then you need a 17" or 18" rim for a decent size jump and shorter sidewall .

but sidewall is part of the soft ride also . so its a give and take .

my 1 buddy has 17" on his mustang for winter and its great . but when he tosses on the 20" for the bling bling in the summer he said his ride goes to sh!t . yes were talking car size tire but still shows how a little change can effect a lot more than you think .

and LT rated tire is stiffer than a P-metric tire . and if you go to a 16" or 17" then get a 8 or 10 ply LT tire and this will give a much firmer side wall over the say 31" LT tire you have now . but also some tire brands the side walls are soft compared to others . so go put your hands on them before there mounted and flex the side wall and find a good firm stiff one .

Ok..
I currently have 33/10.5/15x8 6 5.5
I can’t find any AT tires the same size except for General grabber, BFG and Wranglers.
If I can find a 16” rim, I have more AT tire options.
I was hoping to keep a stock look with 6 lug rims.
I really like the white spokes, but looks like I have to go with 15’s?

Look at the 17" and 18". 15",16" and 16-5 are getting harder to find. look in the "P" section.385/70R16 Tires. 385/70R16 tires have a diameter of 37.2", a section width of 15.2", and a wheel diameter of 16". The circumference is 116.9" and they have 542 revolutions per mile.
