craigslist heads. any good?

does this shop have ANY kind of a reputation for quality work?
Its easy to claim whats been done, but if they are a decent shop, you should be able to find some motor head who has dealt with them.
The heads sound pretty basic, I don't think those are great heads, maybe just stock replacement stuff with stock shimmed springs. Just guessing, but the machine work of a valve job, surfacing, and cleanup would burn the 200$ up. Doesn't sound like any parts have been replaced.

Basic smog heads, Same ones on my 74. Mine have a hump in the exhaust port that reduces flow.

just stock replacement truck head.fits 350-400, 74-80, 76cc chamber, 160/60cc ports.that engine is a decent price.1 year warrantee helps make it more worth it.

Remember the warranty is only as good as the shop offering it. Check them out if you can.

engine still has the same heads you were lookin at,but if they did any machine work on them they can be made to flow better.at that price it looks pretty basic rebuild with a couple of goodies mixed in.if built right should be a good runner.1300 is pretty good with a 1 yr warrantee.as long as the warrantee counts wether you install it or they do should be a good deal.
