crane cam

i was looking at putting a cam in my truck is the crane 266 h10 any good i would like some noticible lope but i dont wont it to be a dog my motor is a stock 92 lo5 with a performer intake headers and msd and a 600 edelbrock carb

If you want a crane cam , they make a nice cam for a stock motor with a carb , its a dual pattern 256/268 adv duration , going to be better than stock for sure , but leaves you able to use the stock torque converter , and the lack of gearing with those 38.5's and the 1/2 tons you run , part # 113904 .

You could also go more agressive and retain decent manners with a roller cam .
