85 k5 blazer. Cranks but won't start. Acts no spark to ignition cause it doesn't even try to fire. Elec fuel pump with Edelbrock carb. Any help is appreciated

Pull the air cleaner and see if it has fuel when you work the trottle. Does the fuel pump run then slow down or stop? If not, it might not be picking up fuel. If the fuel looks like it is working, pull a spark plugs, put the wire back on it and lay it on the intake manifold so the outside of the plug grounds out. Have someone crank it over and watch for spark. Might be the coil is bad, or the rotor broke, or the feed to the distributor is not getting power.

I use a spare plug to check spark, I just vise grip it to a piece of metal on the truck somewhere, and attach the plug wire to it.

Or, stick a screwdriver in the plug end of the plug wire, and lay it on something metal so it will arc.

Fuel or spark, one of those two.

Does it have electric spark control? I had an ESC module in the dashboard fail and it took me two weeks to figure out it was the cause of my no spark after replacing pretty much everything else.
