Crankcase Vent

Anyone ever use K&N crankcase filters on their 350's? Im not to keen on the idea of my intake having oil fumes. Some people have told me it does increase power also but its probably not a significant amount. Anyone know anything about this?

theyre just breathers. Im sure for the price of the K&N brand, you could get a ton of cheaper ones. You probably do gain a little power from the lack of less refined oil vapor in the intake, but the downside is a breather will put a light coat of oil on the valve cover around it. You can pick up a cheap breather at autozone for like 5 bucks.

so do i block the crankcase filter off from the intake if i got a breather? Any ideas on what to use if you do?
