Hey guys,
I tracked down a clicking noise in the engine compartment to what appears to be a wobbling crankshaft pulley. Where do I start to get this resolved?

Here is a video of it... its a little difficult to see the wobble on camera:

vid no worky...

first thing would be to ensure proper mounting surfaces by taking it apart and checking both surface are clean and crud-free... if the pulley itself ends up being bent, you'll want to replace it... readily available from a few sources...

I've got a good pulley off my 85, 3 belt style tho. Pay the shipping. If you find one is in need.

By the looks of the shiny spots around the bolts and all of the metal flakes on the pulley I'd say the bolts are loose.:eek1: Remove the bolts and coat them with red Loctite and tighten them down. The center bolt is probably loose as well so Loctite it and torque the bolt to 70 ft. lbs.
