The trails in moab will end up like the rubicon. A crapper every 1/2 mile. We went after one of the jeep event weekends. Every one of them was overflowing and the trail smelled like, well, you know.

Walmart has the poop bags with the powder and double sealed ziploc, 10 pack in the camping section. We use the 5-gallon bucket and pop on seat that holds the bag. Bucket stores all the fresh items in the bottom when not in use. Get done just seal up the bag and toss it in the big trash bag your hauling out.

sounds like it can’t go in the normal trash, has to be dumped in approved septic system. I foresee a new campground law being passed.

And the powder in the bags converts the waste into a odorless piece of rubber that you can toss in the garbage

I was just reading the entire ordinance, it's sad that Grand County feels that they've got to create the wording they just did for the entire county. No fires outside of established fire rings or pits, no dispersed camping in an area that hasn't been previously established, etc. Soon they will just ban camping outside of .gov provided and established grounds.
