this is posted in the trailer section but I figured itd get more attention over here.

just went and picked this up today. took me 17 hours when it was supposed to take 10 due to a tire locking up and me tearing into brakes in a gas station parking lot haha. paid 360 dollars after the auction fees. its a 37' 11" trailer that I want to be able to haul 3 vehicles when is all done, heres the start, this build may be slow but ill update as we get things done.

somebody my dad knows said theyre 7500# but I have to ask somebody who know for sure. I think theyre more but idk right noe

found it on copart, its an auction site where we buy all of our builders we do. but I got it from Kansas city, missouri

it was the only truck we have running good enough, was heavy enough, and reliably enough to make it to Kansas city and back.

I don't ever think I have seen an 8 lug trailer axle for anything less than 7k, they usually go 6 lug for 5k and I have seen some 8 lug rated at 5k but those were special ordered like that and they looked just about exactly the same as the 7k axles I have seen. Never took em apart so I don't know.

But yah those axles wheels and tires would set you back a pretty penny, whole thing is worth it just for that stuff

yeah just the parts alone are worth more than I paid for it.

I had a friend buy an old burnt out trailer like that well it was a bit older. You would be amazed at the things people wanted off it.

He sold 4 good windows he had for like 500 bucks!!!!!!

Basically made close to a grand on it paid for a good chunk of building his trailer

I wish I had something to post for you guys but now that I bought this trailer its snowed every week. hopefully next week it wont snow so I can have some time off work to tear this thing down!
