Crazy thought, convert 14ff to 6 lug?

Kind of a crazy thought I guess but if someone didn't have any plans of upgrading the front for a long time, anyone ever heard of converting a 14B to 6 lug, I'd think all it would require would be redrilling the holes in the drums, or can you find 6 lug drums that big?

Somebody on this site has done the conversion and I don't think they bought any parts to do it except new lug studs. Do a serch and see what comes up.

yes, your right Donovan does cause he just did it for me. i'll have pictures posted this week . The reason? Just cheaper.

I have heard and dont hold me to it, that some older Chevy van's had 14bff that were 6 lug. You might want to look into that, because I am sure you could get one pretty cheap. Later

Now another question to go along with this, due to my lack of knowledge here, to swap back to 8 lug should be easy and cheap after this right?

Should be easy. If not, just get a spare set of 14bolt Hubs.
