So you know that not everyone only uses their 4x4's for just that some of us use them as daily drivers like I do and would like the AC to work, the cruise control and speedo to work after a transmission/transfercase swap and just stupid other little stuff that is just nice to have.

So I don't know I was thinking maybe a sticky thread for this type of topic maybe.

Thanks for the consideration and just know that this a tired rant.

Plenty of members use their Blazers, Burbs, and trucks as DD's, and many of us have done a lot of work to make those types of things work.

I was lucky, my 28 year old Blazer has working R-12 A/C, working speedo (although I had to do some work to make it work), and my cruise would work if I could find an intact vacuum brake switch.

Basically no real reason I can see to have a sticky, it is just as easy to ask a question and know that those of us who have the answers will answer. Plenty of people know that the question that they are asking has been asked, but we are no less willing to answer it again. That's what makes this site great, everyone here is here to make our trucks better, from the 4x2's through the extreme full tube buggies, we run the entire range.

Yep. Plenty of us here aren't hardcore wheelers, and even those that are, many have valuable input on things not directly wheeling related.

Don't want anyone scared off thinking they won't be helped...post up your problems (with rig details!) and you'll get assistance I'm sure, as long as SOMEONE knows the answers.

let me speak for all the guys who'd blow off a "booty call" from the hottest chick they know to go wheeling. we like stuff to work too. i have two gauges that aren't working quite right (oil pressure and water temp) and i find it pretty annoying, especially offroad, where the vehicle is under more stress than usual. i just haven't had time to shift my focus to the gauges yet.

if you have a question about the detail stuff, as away. i don't think anyone minds. idk if it really needs to be a sticky, though.

my cruise never worked, I dont miss it, its a DD but I dont drive long enough on the interstates to really need it. Now as for the AC it has been gone for awhile, but Im in the process of fixing all that back. Now for bling factor, in the next month or so Im adding an overhead console w/ the compass & temp in it....bling bling.
