Just as a PSA I want to let everyone know that on Sunday morning at Blazer Bash when I fueled up at the Maverick there were two additional charges on my credit card, totaling about $180.
I noticed these errant charges the following week. I immediately contacted my credit card company who canceled my card and sent me a new one.
And then I contacted the Maverick store, who gave me a number to call. Of course I thought I was S.O.L. but I actually talked to a live person who had me email in my card statement and a little background on my claim. I told them look at the security footage for my truck and what time I was there. They then sent it over to their fraud department. They stayed in contact with me the past couple weeks letting me know that they were working on my case.
Just this week I got an email saying that they will refund my money, which is awesome.
Not sure if this was a skimming operation or if Maverick's computer screwed up but I just wanted to let you guys know to check your credit card statements!!
