WHen I turn the wheel back and forth, mainly when the truck is not moving, I get a creeking noise fron the right front. I'm not sure where it's coming from. I lifted the front up and checked the wheel bearings... no play, and they spin great. and the hubs are in the FREE position. Any ideas?

Could just be some movement in the front springs that is causing the creeking noise... :dunno: Hard to tell without being there.

Either. Like Heavy Metal said, it could be dry bushings... Or the leaves could be moving slightly...

It really could be a number of things! Loose frame rivots, loose steering box, cracked frame, loose fender..... Etc...... Could be the tiniest thing or the biggest. I'd say it it drives fine and nothing is loose or broken(check the frame at all crossmembers and at the steering box)... I wouldn't worry much about it unless it is super loud... Old vehicles can make some really strange noises! :)

I have brand new leafs and shackles. No frame cracks, no lose p/s pump, new tie rod ends... everything is fresh. I guess I'll use some WD-40 and try to spray different areas and if it goes away I know what's doing it. thanks for the advice. At first I was wondering if something was majorly wrong, but it drive fine, and i've jaked up the front end multiple times for bearing checks and everything.
