I want to put an internal cage in my crew cab. 2 problems with that, I dont have a bender and I dont have the skills to bend even if I did. Im cutting the whole dash out and probably going to use a fiberglass unit designed for score race trucks. And Im going to modify the floor.
So my question is would I be ahead to buy a kit type cage and modify it to suit my needs? Or maybe 2 cages? I want it to be out of the way for the most part. I know the front posts or kickers will need to be modified as well as several other aspects. I also want it fully welded when its done.
Anyone know what diamiter tube the kit types use?
