Crew cab questions

I currently have an 89 gmc Suburban, but am wanting to swap a crew cab onto the frame and add a small flatbed to the back of the crew cab. I have DIY tube doors on the burb that I want to keep for the crew cab body. I am wanting to use a 75 crew cab and register as the 75 to avoid having to smog it. My question is, will my tube doors still fit the older cab? are there any differences between the cab itself, like doors, etc? I currently don't have doors for the burb and will want doors for the crew cab so I can drive in the winter.

The doors will bolt up. The difference in the doors is cosmetic on the inside with door panels and different mounting holes.

Do you already have the older body? If it were me, I'd start out with the whole K30 and make a short bed. That will be easier AND stronger, light years stronger.

I'm in Clovis too.....I saw your truck at Lowes one day.....I wanted to take a closer look, but you were gone when I came out.
