I have these in my 88 and would like to find some for my 81. I have never seen them in anything else. They flip on with a switch in the middle driver pillar and I can't find them in any aftermarket supplier. Any ideas? Got some?
Thanks

Are you sure they are factory?? I've parted a lot of crew's and never seen them before. Look for an RPO code...

thay look like a federal signal clear lens for a arrow stick light . but federal signal made lots of other lights and some use the same lenses.

I have that same switch on my B pillar but it activates rear lights on mine, not sure what RPO code it is but I am sure the switch is an option, it looks stock not retrofited, not sure what it was supposed to turn on but the PO on this truck used it for flood lights on the bed.

My B pillar switch behind the driver says cargo light on the switch...nothing about interior.

So I guess mine was used for it's intended porpose but his here was converted to courtesy light in the rear section?
I think mine says that too, but since the truck is not in front of me I couldn't confirm.:dunno:

Well I have no cargo light so this is what it does. It may not be stock, in that case Ill find some that look good to fit.

could be someone added it to the truck?

Yup im thinking someone added those lights, look like exterior to me. But look cool none the less! id rather them turn on with the door than a switch though.

The cargo light switch is stock.

But like every one else I have never seen those interior lights

i know you can get clear covers for cheep std clearence lights . thay would hold 2 194 bulbs and even more low profile.
