So I sold my crawler, it went anywhere but just wasn't the same wheeling experience I've had with K5's and my CC. Trying to decide whether to go CC Short Box, or K5. I've owned both and loved both. What are the opinions out there on the two rigs. Will be used for wheeling, hunting, fishing etc. What are everyone's thoughts?

Crew Cab SB, versus K5

I switched from a 2 door k10 to a K5 because my family grew. I chose the K5 mostly out of opportunity and price. Now that I finally have it running I wish I had gone with a shortened crew, so much easier to get in and out of.
Any interest in a Suburban? It's holding the middle ground between the two options. 4 doors + short wheel base (compared to the unshortened crew) + covered bed space. Unless you are wanting an open bed, I don't see many down sides.
