It came with no engine an sm 465 and a 208. it is a 78 2wd cab on a 83 standard cab long bed frame and has a 14 bolt with a locker and a dana 44 front with 4.56 gears. came with a sub tank that had a hole in it that i was un aware of until i got it into the shop and gas was all over the floor. and the flat bed that is getting scrapped.

The plan right now it for it to look partly like the cousin willard but with a lot more mixed in and not 4 linked. tube bed and internal roll cage. 350 which i have sm465 with hydraulic clutch and 205 that i got with the engine. boat sided like this

tube bumper like the ones on my blazer.

Thanks, got a lot of cleaning up to do. i got a little lazy and i just cut everything with a torch. but oh well went way faster that way

That's cool. That cut in the door makes it like a tahoe rear door.

Looking good man, I have an extra crew cab cab setting in my yard that is all rusted that I want to do this with. Will be looking at this build closely.

I like it.
What's the story about how you found it?

got it from some guy out of des moines. i found the truck from this site on the crew around the country thread. wasnt as nice as it looked but i cut all the bad parts out so no big deal. 1200 dollars too so i thought i was nice.

do it. its not as intimidating as it looks. i was pretty scared to just cut up my cab and doors but it hasnt been too bad so far. only part im worried about is the floor but ill figure it out when the time comes.

Should be working on the truck everynight after work this week so hopefully ill have the passenger side all done and the doors done.

Any new updates? Do you have any pictures of how the cab is mounted? Im starting to think about swapping my cab on my k10 to use for a DD right now and then after my crew cab is done it goes wheeler.

its been along time since ive posted in here and this is what I did to it tonight
I got a little picture happy.
